Just another day at the office (or at the Boat Works on the Gold Coast) for the team at ALFAB, with an 85 foot motor yacht recently receiving new windows and portlights.

After years of exposure to UV, salt and constant marine conditions, the original glazing had reached the point where replacement was the smart move — both to ensure certification requirements are reached and to ensure the vessel remains sealed, secure and looking sharp.

Digital capture allows each replacement unit to be manufactured to suit the exact geometry of the hull.

This approach reduces guesswork and ensures alignment with both structural and certification requirements.

The new glazing units are being purpose-built for this refit, designed to integrate with the existing structure while improving durability and sealing performance.
